Im now officially 25 weeks pregnant. its why i havent been around. been . . . um . . . busy. We cut back on ALOT of unnessasary expenses and we decided the internet was one of them. Pretty excited, pretty scared ( cause i know its gonna hurt...though im opting for a water birth so hopefully not as much) and pretty poor. It's extortion the price they make you pay for things. seriously. A bodysuit for a new born is more expensive thant a t-shirt for me! And i dont want to go into the price...

In Lioness Rampant, when Delia, Princess Josaine and the other baddies are plotting and Roger walks in on it, and wonder what Alex is doing there. We are told that Roger would "know what Alex desires from any plot to remove Jonathan from the throne"

So, this book has been out for a few months now. Has anyone else read it, or listened to the audiobook version? What did you think?

I liked the book, I think it grew on me more after I'd thought about it a bit at the end. It felt kind of stale at first, like I'd read the plot before. Or maybe it was because Evvy was getting on my nerves at the beginning with her attitude, though this got better later in the book. However, I liked Luvo, and I really liked the Volcanic...

Right, so I recently started to re-read the immortals series and realized that there were a LOT of little things that I have missed/ forgotten in the past. For instance I always assumed Daine stayed on witht he riders when in reality she left after her first summer. So in december *is it really that long ago?* I discovered this AMAZING tv show called Firefly....it was created by Joss Whedon (Buffy, Dr Horrible) and stars Nathan Fillion (Desperate Housewives, Waitress), Alan Tudyk (Knight's Tale, Spamalot), Adam Baldwin (Chuck), Summer Glau (Sarah Connor Chronicles), Jewel Staite (SG), Sean Maher, Gina Torres, Morena Baccarin and Ron Glass.

The best way to describe it is a character based drama/sci-fi/western...and I absolutely hate western...

When you do you read it? During breakfast? Someone's scrunched up, sat-on copy on the train? How do you read it? That is, which sections and why?

I don't read it much - I'm usually pretty clueless on current affairs (not by choice! I just find the family's newspaper of choice a bit TOOMUCHBRAIN), but the things I tend to know about I find out from other people, the radio, television news and the 'Net. I like the magazines that come...
